In September 2017 I will be setting off on my second cycle challenge for Genesis Research Trust – 350km in the beautiful island of Madagascar. It all sounds idyllic but it has to be a challenge so 350km with cobbled uphill sections, roads with broken up tarmac, sharp ascents, steep undulations, long gradual uphills, rough off road dirt track, badly maintained roads and off road trails…….seems to fit the bill for intrepid Genesis cyclists! Those who know me, will recognise that I am far from an athlete but am determined and slightly mad!
So please help me to support a fantastic charity supporting scientists and clinicians working to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions which cause genetic diseases, miscarriage , premature birth, brain damage and cancer. The fundamental aim is to improve women’s health and to ensure that more women have a normal pregnancy with a healthy baby and any support you can give will be appreciated by me and the many thousands of women that this research will help support in the future.
Thank You x
