Gwen Young

Accounts Manager and Trust Secretary

Gwen started her professional life as an antiques dealer running her own successful antiques business. In 1986, following the birth of her daughter Esme, she joined Genesis Research Trust as Trust Secretary. Over the past 25 years Gwen has seen many trainee scientists become leading figures in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, and is passionate about the research funded by the charity. She has taken part in five Women for Women cycle challenges cycling over 5,000 km in total. She enjoys walking, cycling, reading and the theatre.
